The itinerary of this private tour departing from Rome will begin by visiting Villa d’Este, famous for its gardens, numerous fountains, centenary trees and impressive panoramic views. It will also be possible to visit the magnificent residence of the Cardinal d’Este dating back to the 16th century.
Another fabulous villa that can be visited in Tivoli is Villa Adriana, the residence of the emperor Hadrian who with its Roman architecture and its numerous statues appears more like an ancient Roman town than an imperial villa.
Inside the Canopus you will see the reconstruction of the ancient portico of Athens, the naval theater, the small and large baths, the reproduction that Hadrian wanted of an Egyptian sanctuary and the museum containing precious objects of value found in the excavations and a copy of the sculptures of the Amazons.
